about the project
At the end of my Senior year of high school, we were given a month off to pursue any project we wanted.
We met with a teacher regularly and kept a very clear blog regarding progress.
This project could be anything we were interested in so long as we were openly pursuing something new.
As such, I decided to pursue my longstanding interest in architecture by designing a house completely from scratch with no knowledge.
During the process, I met with three local architects to learn from them, discuss ideas, and critique my design.
The name "dreamdesign" comes from the idea that this project is a first step towards achieving a dream of mine to design my own house.
I also published a Medium article that describes the entire process with more detail.
The link is available below.
If I have more considerable chunks of time in the future, I would love to continue pursuing small architectural projects such as this.
